VIDEO: Impromptu New Year’s party in NYC turns into “Fuck The Police” riot. Several arrested

Two hours into the New Year a spontaneous dance party broke out on New York City’s Lower East Side. By the time police responded to complaints the party was out of control and growing.
As the police attempted to quiet the crowd they were met with shouts of, “Fuck the police!” One partier can be heard in the video singing, “All I want for Christmas are two dead pigs, two dead pigs.”
Exercising all the restraint that can be expected under the circumstances the police were eventually forced to pepper spray the most aggressive individuals, throwing some of them to the ground, and arresting several. Some of those arrested could be heard shouting, “I can’t breathe!”
