I broke from many of my conservative brethren when I supported gay marriage, as to me it was a matter of individual liberty, our Constitution's cornerstone, and the state having no say in matters of love and marriage, which to me is the bailiwick of our churches. However, having now seen gay rights activists behaving as little more than bigoted bullies, shoving their agenda (which frankly appears to be to make the entire world gay) down the throats of those who still prefer traditional marriage (like me), I am rethinking my philosophy. I don't want to insist that practitioners of any particular lifestyle be required to believe as I do, but neither do I want a small minority of homonazis to be permitted to force me to believe as they do, which doesn't appear to be an option anymore. EVERYONE must now believe as they do, shunning traditional marriage completely, or pay a dear price for not doing so. Thus, I am now very much in the traditional marriage camp, and you may count me as exceedingly anti-gay. Way to go, homonazis. You are alienating the few friends you had on the right. Thomas Madison
