Pearl Harbor. Lest we should forget.

By Thomas Madison, Powdered Wig Society

az1

This morning at 7:55 AM, there was a moment of silence at Pearl Harbor to commemorate the exact time the Japanese attacked the American Pacific Fleet, 73 years ago, today, and to commemorate those lost on the USS Arizona.

In attendance are 6 or 7 of the remaining 9 survivors of the Arizona. This is their last trip to Hawaii to participate in the annual ceremony, so it is historic. The attending survivors have been in Hawaii since December 1, participating in memorial services and commemoration ceremonies.

If any of you are reading this from Oahu, please take a minute to stop by the Princess Kaiulani Hotel in Waikiki to say “thank you” to these heroes, and shake the hand of  history.

Thomas Madison

Ex-Army officer and stone-cold patriot, Thomas Madison is on a mission to contribute in any and every way to the restoration of and strict obedience to the United States Constitution, that divinely-inspired, concise, intentionally and specifically broad (wrap your head around that oxymoron) blueprint which has gifted the world with the concept and realization of individual liberty and unlimited prosperity. We, as a nation, have lost our way. We have spent the past one-hundred years attempting to fix what was never broken. As with building anything, when you can't figure it out, consult the blueprint. So too with rebuilding America, the blueprint for which is the United States Constitution.
