Tom Harkin (D-Iowa) on Sunday’s classified briefing “quite frankly raised more questions than it answered.” “I found the evidence presented by administration officials to be circumstantial,” Obama plans to flood the floor of Congress with briefers and evidence in support of attacking Assad. We can only hope that there are counter-briefings planned, as nearly all of the evidence that has come forward so far indicates that this chemical attack was committed by the rebels….

In other words, what Trumka aims to do is SCREW employers to the wall, closing the 30-hour loophole, which would be easy to do by just including language in an amendment that says that any employee, part-time or full-time must be covered, or the employer pays a fine (read: tax) for that individual.
