Vitaly Zhuravsky, a member of the Ukrainian Parliament, was met by a mob of angry citizens outside the Parliament building in Kiev. As Zhuravsky walked the angry mob picked him up and threw him into a nearby dumpster. As one citizen held him down in the dumpster others pelted him with trash.
Rich in symbolism, the sentiment expressed by these Ukrainian patriots is shared by many citizens world-wide. We Americans should take a cue from them and line Pennsylvania Avenue and Capitol Hill with dumpsters…. and then get to work!
