Iranians are filling the streets to protest the state of their economy, which has been crippled by a massive drop in the value of the Rial, now worth half its April value against the US dollar.
The crippled Iranian economy is the result of massive sanctions against the Islamic regime, imposed by the United States and its allies, for Iran’s blatant lies and defiance regarding its nuclear weapons program.
In Shiraz, Iranian protesters are chanting, “This is the month of blood, the mullahs will be overthrown.”
“Iran’s people blame the regime and no one else for the economic failure.” In Ahvaz, they are shouting, “Our enemy is right here. They are lying when they say it’s America.”
