This is rich, typically Muslim, and disgusting as hell!
Ever on the hunt for any excuse to bitch and moan, Muslims continue to embarrass themselves and further invite the ridicule and disrespect they are receiving from “normal” people around the world.
Here’s the background: North Dakota lawmakers politely asked a Muslim imam to offer the invocation before a session of the State House, to which the imam agreed. When it was pointed out that the imam’s invocation may be inappropriate as it was scheduled to be delivered on Ash Wednesday, an important Catholic holiday, Republican leaders respectfully requested the imam to reschedule his invocation for another date.
Did SCOTUS make the right decision on medical mandates for large businesses?
That’s when the shit hit the fan. The indignant Muslims went ballistic. CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations), which has been classified as a terrorist organization by UAE, was called and rushed to the site of the offense faster than Al Sharpton to the scene of a white cop shooting a black thug in self defense. An official apology has been demanded by CAIR and the pathetic offended Muslims. Their stupidity and faux indignation, while not surprising, are no less sickening.
So, how should the North Dakota House handle this? I hope they schedule a celebratory pig roast during Ramadan.
From Grand Forks Herald:
MINNEAPOLIS — A Minnesota Muslim group is calling on North Dakota Republican leaders to apologize for un-inviting a Muslim leader from offering an invocation before the state House.
“Lawmakers of any political persuasion should reject religious bigotry and exclusion,” Jaylani Hussein, executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations’ Minnesota chapter, said Friday in a statement.
House Republican leaders said earlier they asked Nadim Koleilat not to participate on Ash Wednesday after some in Republican House members complained it was inappropriate.
Koleilat, who leads the Bismarck Muslim Community Center, was asked by the state Senate to offer an invocation the same day.
CAIR, based in Washington, D.C., describes itself as an American Muslim civil liberties organization.
