Everyone knows the horrific treatment ISIS has shown innocent Iraqi civilians they have captured. It is a horror scene from the most depraved imaginations.
Now that Mosul has been liberated and Iraqi forces are storming into the city, they have captured many ISIS jihadis. The Geneva Convention would require that these jihadi vermin be treated with every human kindness.
However, Iraqi soldiers, many of whom have seen relatives beaten, tortured, raped, drowned, burnt to death, even beheaded in the cruelest and most grotesque public spectacles, are seeking revenge. Can you blame them?
