The Honduran caravan on its way through Mexico to the US border has grown in number to as high as 10,000, all with the intent to enter the United States illegally and seek asylum or simply disappear into the country.
A video, posted to Twitter by Los Angeles Times reporter Kate Linthicum, who is based in Mexico City, shows a stream of migrants estimated to be between a mile and two miles long, with ten migrants abreast, moving north at a steady pace.
Responding to the caravan of Hondurans determined to enter the United States, no matter whether the United States wants them or not, President Trump announced, “I will seal off the border before (the migrants) come into this country, and I’ll bring out our military, not our reserves.”
