VIDEO: President Trump and President Putin’s first handshake, the body language, and my take on the encounter

So, there it was at the G20, the handshake everyone has been waiting to see, the first handshake between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

With both men grinning broadly, they approached one another, not tentatively, by assertively, like old friends meeting again.

The handshake was respectful, warm and cordial, not cold, stuffy, and official. President Trump even patted President Putin on the back as both stood to answer questions.

If body language is any indication of future relationships, the relationship between the United States and Russia is going to be a very friendly one, and that is a very good thing!

Ex-Army officer and stone-cold patriot, Thomas Madison is on a mission to contribute in any and every way to the restoration of and strict obedience to the United States Constitution, that divinely-inspired, concise, intentionally and specifically broad (wrap your head around that oxymoron) blueprint which has gifted the world with the concept and realization of individual liberty and unlimited prosperity. We, as a nation, have lost our way. We have spent the past one-hundred years attempting to fix what was never broken. As with building anything, when you can't figure it out, consult the blueprint. So too with rebuilding America, the blueprint for which is the United States Constitution.
