Generalizations are often unfair and never politically correct. However, one that rings true is that sailors of the US Navy variety are, for whatever reason, the most artful composers of the curse word on God’s blue earth. Their ingenuity in creating spontaneous sexual epithets, more invective than innuendo, is unmatched. I presume this extraordinary skill is the result of special coaching in Navy basic training and runs a close second to drinking as the most universal, if not beneficial, nautical skill imbued in our young seamen, not to be confused with “semen” (there’s a punchline there somewhere).
No finer poster boy for the US Navy walks the earth today than old salt Steve Bannon, advisor to President Donald Trump. Bannon’s mastery of the sexual invective is legendary (where do you think “grab ’em by the pussy” came from?).
Although I take great pride as an old soldier in my own cursing ability, I remain in awe of sailors like Steve Bannon. I believe that people who aren’t afraid to cuss in their everyday communication are the most honest people you will meet, even if they do leave you blushing. I much prefer their company to the company of dishonest prudes who avoid a well-placed curse word here and there in their ordinary speech.
A new book has been released in which Bannon’s extraordinary naval cursing skill is highlighted. According to the author, who worked with and for Bannon in the Breitbart days, Bannon’s pet name for Speaker of the House Paul Ryan was and is “Limp Dick Motherfucker.” The best I have ever been able to come up with is Paul Rino, thus I remain in awe of Bannon’s extraordinary naval genius.

The devil is in the details — in this case, literally.
Bloomberg Businessweek senior national correspondent Joshua Green has unearthed at least one nasty detail for his new book that already has Washington buzzing. It’s called Devil’s Bargain: Steve Bannon, Donald Trump, and the Storming of the Presidency.
The insult surfaced in the spring of 2016. One by one, Donald Trump was knocking down his opponents and becoming the GOP nominee.
But Speaker Paul Ryan was still a dream for some Republicans, who couldn’t stomach the thought of a Trump presidency. Green writes that this “sent Bannon into a panic.”
Breitbart News Chairman Steve Bannon wasn’t yet working for Trump as his chief strategist. But Matthew Boyle and other Breitbart reporters there were busy writing scathing stories about Ryan under Bannon’s direction. But he really didn’t have to push too hard. In May, ex-Breitbart reporter Lee Stranahan told Vanity Fair that Boyle had “fetish-ized going after Paul Ryan. I don’t know how else to put it, it’s just complete obsession.”
Bannon’s remark is at least comparable to Trump’s “grab ’em by the pussy” remark.
But the bright side? At least he’s not jokingly condoning sexually assaulting women.
Green wrote that Bannon called Ryan “a limp-dick motherfucker who was born in a petri dish at the Heritage Foundation.”
Heritage is a well-known conservative think tank in Washington.
