2020 presidential election

Officially, say Oprah’s handlers, “It’s not happening. She has no intention of running.” Twelve hours of Twitter scorching was enough to scare her off

We at Powdered Wig were celebrating the news that Oprah was considering running for President of the United States. The Democrat Party could give no greater gift to the Republican Party.

I missed Oprah’s speech at the Golden Globes as I am garbage-intolerant and stay away from sickening displays of Hollyweird narcissism where rooms full of self-proclaimed beautiful people stroke one another for hours, breaking from their mutual adulation only long enough for an occasional slam of President Trump.

The social media reaction to the news of Oprah’s pending nomination was immediate and brutal, so brutal that Oprah quickly sent her mouthpiece out to announce that “It’s not happening. She has no intention of running.”

Maybe the Democrat Party should nominate Jimmy Carter again. I know he is almost 100, but he is the only clean Democrat in the country.

Thomas Madison

Ex-Army officer and stone-cold patriot, Thomas Madison is on a mission to contribute in any and every way to the restoration of and strict obedience to the United States Constitution, that divinely-inspired, concise, intentionally and specifically broad (wrap your head around that oxymoron) blueprint which has gifted the world with the concept and realization of individual liberty and unlimited prosperity. We, as a nation, have lost our way. We have spent the past one-hundred years attempting to fix what was never broken. As with building anything, when you can't figure it out, consult the blueprint. So too with rebuilding America, the blueprint for which is the United States Constitution.
