VIDEO: Vegas victim describes how two young women saved his life. Shares very patriotic words after visit by two special guests

Las Vegas shooting victim Thomas Gunderson is recuperating in a local hospital after being shot in the lower leg by Stephen Paddock. Gunderson described the horror and how two young women, total strangers, pulled him to safety after he had been shot and was unable to walk (first video, below).

With a fresh bullet wound in his calf, Gunderson was not about to lie down when First Lady Melania Trump walked into the room to say hello and offer her best wishes (second video), followed a moment later by President Trump who likewise offered his best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Asked why he didn’t remain lying down to avoid further injury to his leg when the President and First Lady walked into his room, Gunderson reportedly said, “I will never lie down when the President of this great country comes to shake my hand! There may be plenty of issues in this country but I will always respect my country, my president and my flag. Shot in the leg or not, I will stand to show my President the respect he deserves!”

You rock, brother!

Thomas Madison

Ex-Army officer and stone-cold patriot, Thomas Madison is on a mission to contribute in any and every way to the restoration of and strict obedience to the United States Constitution, that divinely-inspired, concise, intentionally and specifically broad (wrap your head around that oxymoron) blueprint which has gifted the world with the concept and realization of individual liberty and unlimited prosperity. We, as a nation, have lost our way. We have spent the past one-hundred years attempting to fix what was never broken. As with building anything, when you can't figure it out, consult the blueprint. So too with rebuilding America, the blueprint for which is the United States Constitution.
