Border wall to begin by the end of summer

Among President Trump’s most significant campaign issues were border security and immigration control. Key to both was an impenetrable border wall to keep illegal aliens from simply walking or wading into the United States.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly both stood by the need for a physical border wall during their trip to the U.S.-Mexico border Friday, according to The Washington Times.

“We hope to begin construction by the end of the summer,” Mr. Kelly said on CNN.

The starting location for the wall is still being worked out, but Mr. Kelly said his department will work with U.S. Customs and Border Protection to determine where the wall is most needed and begin there.

Mr. Sessions added that his department will assist Mr. Kelly and his department however he can, but said he believed Congress would be supportive, too.

When asked how the wall would be paid for, Mr. Sessions said, “I think Congress will provide necessary funds.”

Mr. Kelly emphasized, however, that the plans for border and immigration security are not on the first 100 days timeline.

Thomas Madison

Ex-Army officer and stone-cold patriot, Thomas Madison is on a mission to contribute in any and every way to the restoration of and strict obedience to the United States Constitution, that divinely-inspired, concise, intentionally and specifically broad (wrap your head around that oxymoron) blueprint which has gifted the world with the concept and realization of individual liberty and unlimited prosperity. We, as a nation, have lost our way. We have spent the past one-hundred years attempting to fix what was never broken. As with building anything, when you can't figure it out, consult the blueprint. So too with rebuilding America, the blueprint for which is the United States Constitution.
