A Dallas, Texas, high school art teacher may be in trouble after posting a video on her personal Instagram account showing her shooting a projected image of President Donald Trump with a water gun in what appears to be her classroom, reports The Read Over TV.
“Die,” the teacher screamed before shooting the gun at the image projected on a classroom whiteboard as voices can be heard in the background. She posted the video Friday to her Instagram account, which she has since made private, with the caption, “Watching the #inauguration in my classroom like…. #no #stop#denial #squirtgun #hypocrisy #powerless #saveusall #teachthembetter #atleastitsfriday.”
The video was posted to YouTube before the teacher was able to delete the post and change her privacy settings.
The Dallas Morning News reported that the teacher, Payal Modi, is an art teacher at Adamson High School and that the Dallas Independent School District is aware of the incident.
District spokeswoman Robyn Harris told the DMN that the woman in the video was identified as a district employee and a teacher at the high school. She said the district is investigating the incident and has no further comment at this time. As of Thursday morning, Modi had not been placed on administrative leave.
