The left’s love affair with socialism is no secret. Neither is socialism’s impact. But, don’t take my word for it, Google “Venezuela,” a once ridiculously oil-rich country where socialism has led to runaway inflation, starvation, rebellion, rampant crime, an unprecedented level of human misery, and mass emigration, as millions of Venezuelans flood neighboring countries seeking an opportunity to simply survive.
But, it seems leftists never learn. Not only evidence, but proof of the folly of socialist policy can stare them square in the puss and, somehow, they just can’t see it. They don’t get it. So, on they go with their utopian socialist experiments.
Today’s lesson in the horror of socialism comes to us from California, where liberal bastions San Francisco and Los Angeles are shining examples of Democrat-created crises of homelessness, streets filled with garbage and human feces, explosions of rat populations, and the diseases those rats bring with them.
In the video, below, watch as a very animated and disgusted Dr. Drew Pinsky discusses with Fox News’ Laura Ingraham the problem in LA where an outbreak of Typhus has occurred and is expected to become an epidemic this summer. Medieval diseases such as bubonic plague are also expected to make a comeback in Tinsel Town, where fabulously wealthy, liberal celebrities are isolated in their multi-million dollar compounds just a few miles from the filth and misery of LA’s massive homelessness crisis.
Hollywood’s elite should be advised that rat fleas do not discriminate. They will bite a pompous and pampered liberal’s ass just as quickly as they will bite a down and out bum.
INGRAHAM: Two hot topics and just a short time to get to them. So, let’s bring in Drew Pinsky, board-certified internist. OK, Dr. Drew, great to see you. I have to begin with this shocking case out of L.A., and two friends of mine have told me about this. A police officer now has contracted that really rare and life-threatening illness, disease, typhoid fever. Now, fewer than 350 Americans contract this every year, so what’s going on here?
DR. DREW: We have complete breakdown of the basic needs of civilization in Los Angeles right now. We have the three prongs of airborne disease, Tuberculosis is exploding, rodent-borne, we’re one of the only major cities in the country that does not have a rodent control program, and sanitation has broken down. We had a typhus outbreak last summer, we’ll have a typhus as outbreak this summer. I’m hearing from experts that bubonic plague is likely. It’s already here. It will get onto the rat fleas. And then now finally we have this oral-fecal route contamination, which is typhoid fever, three cases, one confirmed, probably three. This is UNBELIEVABLE! I can’t believe I live in a city where – this is not third world, Laura this is medieval. Third world countries are insulted if they are accused of being like this. No city on earth tolerates this. The entire population is at risk. And God forbid if measles – this is a population that is sub-optimally immunized – if measles gets in, I just have an image of myself on my knees in the gutter tending to people because this summer is likely to be a very profound problem.
INGRAHAM: Well, meanwhile, we are welcoming in tens of thousands into California in the next few months of illegal immigrants, and I’ve had a chance to talk to one of these migrants after they crossed the border. They have no papers, they have no identification, but they have a friend or a relative they were going to go visit. One couple of people had nowhere to go. So I don’t know how you ever check health records, and they’re flooding into many cities in California, San Jose, L.A., San Diego.
DR. DREW: And we can’t handle our situation, such as it is. And there is a very bizarre thing going on where the government is somehow insisting that housing is the problem, when in fact we have chronic mental illness, we have addiction, we have people who don’t want to leave the streets. They literally won’t take the housing if we give it to them. And that’s the population that is vulnerable, and it’s going to get so ill this summer, it scares me for their well-being. Listen, Laura, I need your help. I want to pierce their shield of qualified immunity so that we can go after them for reckless negligence. This is disgusting! It is reckless negligence, and we have to have a solution to this.
INGRAHAM: Yeah, I mean, I know the businesses are upset, just like they are in San Francisco.
DR. DREW: No, I don’t think you get how dire this is.
INGRAHAM: I do.
DR. DREW: I’m telling you as a physician, it’s like I’m standing on a railroad track, saying the bridge is out. This could be a very serious summer.
INGRAHAM: But where are the politicians? The liberal politicians in California care about people.
DR. DREW: They are negligent, disgustingly negligent. It’s almost like – as I was driving over, I thought, do they want the people on the streets to die? Is that really, they don’t care if they all die? Is that really where we are now?
INGRAHAM: That’s compassion. Yeah. Well, Dr. Drew, we didn’t have time to get into the six-figure rehab, I’d love to have you back for that. That’s a shocker.
DR.DREW: I’ll do it. You got it.
INGRAHAM: It’s a teaser for your next appearance. But thank you for sounding the alarm. This is not political. This is a health crisis now.
DR. DREW: No, no. This is a health crisis that we have not seen in this country for a hundred years.
INGRAHAM: Alright. Dr. Drew, thank you so much.
What about being concerned of the filth like urine, feces, garbage, needles…garbage by the truck loads in California….LA and San Fran !!!!! You're worried about bus emissions??? What about rats and disease in the cities I just listed?????? Get with it Kamala!!!

Maybe u politicians in CA should take a break with Trump hate and focus on the Typhoid in LA. Never in my life would I have believed that an ancient disease is spreading in LA by homeless camps. At east clean up the feces and garbage to get rid of the rats to stop the spread
