AWESOME! Kroger to liberal pantywaists who are uncomfortable shopping with open carry customers: Pound sand!

By Thomas Madison

Kroger CFO, Michael Schlotman, responding to the shrill whine of anti-Second Amendment activist gang, Moms Demand Action, confounds the shortsighted shriekers with the ration and reason of our Constitution.

Though well-intentioned, the myopic matrons are apparently unable to connect the dots between the protection offered by a sane, open carry customer and the danger they would face from a nutjob with an illegal firearm, or machete, or knife, or club, or some other weapon. They can’t seem to comprehend that they would be hapless sitting ducks against said nutjob, but stand a statistically significant fighting chance with one or more armed customers in the immediate area. Amazing!

Thus, the manic moms have been on a relentless campaign of boycotts, petitions, and even a protest at a Kroger’s investor meeting.

Kroger’s official  and rational response to the mindless mania:

“If the local gun laws are to allow open carry, we’ll certainly allow customers to do that based on what the local laws are. We don’t believe it’s up to us to legislate what the local gun control laws should be. It’s up to the local legislators to decide to do that. So we follow local laws [and] we ask our customers to be respectful to the other people they are shopping with. And we really haven’t had any issues inside of our stores as a result of that.”

Thank you, Kroger, for your sane support of our Constitution!
