I agree with Lou Dobbs that Donald Trump has shown an extraordinary level of restraint. He has met with beltway parasites, some, like Paul Rino, members of his own party, who have impugned his character in the most vile ways over the past year and a half, and he has been amazingly cordial and forgiving with those individuals.

In an interview with Laura Ingraham, Dobbs declared, “I’ve gotta’ tell you I am such a base and petty man that if Paul Ryan had done to me what he did to Donald Trump my hands would, without any power to resist it all, would be clutching at his throat. And, I have to say, Donald Trump was very presidential. He actually may be seeking to attain the level of saint here in what he has tolerated. I have to commend the President-elect. He did extraordinarily well in constraining himself and being generous of spirit and heart. It was amazing.”
