Cop-Hating St Louis Pastor & Member of Governor’s Ferguson Commission Blames Police for Berkeley Shooting

That didn’t take long.

Pastor Starsky Wilson from St. Louis blasted police for shooting 18 year-old repeat felon Antonio Martin on Tuesday. Wilson also told reporters that most of the local protests have been non-violent.
Seriously?

Protesters looted and torched dozens of Ferguson and Dellwood businesses in November.
The protesters were peaceful until they weren’t.

Last night the “peaceful” protesters hurled bricks and explosives at cops.

This crazy cop-hating pastor is a member of Governor Jay Nixon’s Ferguson Commission.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported:

Someone else who came to the Mobil after the shooting was the Rev. Starsky Wilson, one of the co-chairmen of the Ferguson Commission set up by Gov. Jay Nixon to look into the social and economic issues at play in north St. Louis County.

“Black. Young person shot by a police officer,” Wilson said, describing it as a familiar narrative.

Wilson pointed out that since Brown’s shooting most of the protests have been nonviolent and he said he was not surprised that what he was seeing in Berkeley was nonviolent.

“When you see police escalate, you see violence,” Wilson said.
