BOOM! President Trump keeps another campaign promise regarding defense

Another campaign promise kept, President Trump is boosting the defense budget, but not increasing the overall budget, taking the money he is adding to defense from foreign aid and discretionary spending.

President Trump’s 2018 budget will slash foreign aid in order to boost defense spending, the White House said Monday morning, promising cuts to almost every non-security category, reports The Washington Times.

His budget envisions a $54 billion spike in defense, with the money coming from cuts to domestic discretionary programs.

“We will increase security and we will decrease lower-priority programs. Most federal agencies will see a reduction as a result,” said an Office of Management and Budget official, speaking on condition that he not be named.

Ex-Army officer and stone-cold patriot, Thomas Madison is on a mission to contribute in any and every way to the restoration of and strict obedience to the United States Constitution, that divinely-inspired, concise, intentionally and specifically broad (wrap your head around that oxymoron) blueprint which has gifted the world with the concept and realization of individual liberty and unlimited prosperity. We, as a nation, have lost our way. We have spent the past one-hundred years attempting to fix what was never broken. As with building anything, when you can't figure it out, consult the blueprint. So too with rebuilding America, the blueprint for which is the United States Constitution.
