On Sunday, President Obama said he “unconditionally” condemns the murder of two uniformed New York police officers by Ismaaiyl Brinsley. Nevertheless, former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani said Obama, Attorney General Eric Holder and MSNBC host Al Sharpton and others, have created what he called an atmosphere of “severe, strong, anti-policehatred” while appearing on “Fox and Friends Sunday.”
Fox’s Clayton Morris played clips of statements made by Obama, Holder and Sharpton saying there are systematic problems in the way law enforcement treats minorities. Giuliani rejected the statements and said that for the most part, officers have acted appropriately. Leaders like Obama and Sharpton, however, have not, he said.
“They have created an atmosphere of severe, strong, anti-police hatred in certain communities,” he said. “And for that, they should be ashamed of themselves.”
Since the August shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, a number of people, including elected Democrats, have done all they could to fan the flame of racial strife and hatred. Some have called for murdering all police on Twitter, while others have advocated genocide — the deliberate murder of all white people. As we reported earlier, some were captured on video calling for Communist revolution.
Former New York City Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik went further, saying that de Blasio and Sharpton “have blood on thier hands.” Actor James Woods called Sharpton a “disgusting pig” and said he is directly responsible for the murder of Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos. Walid Shoebat, calling Brinsley a “Muslim jihadist,” said Obama wants to cause a race waras part of an effort to overthrow the U.S. government.
“The Muslims are using the rioters, and of course race, as an instrument for jihad, and Obama is as well playing a major role in this,” he wrote. “The entire movement is a conspiracy to weaken the American police force to further enable jihad in America.”
As a result of a report that members of the militant Black Guerrilla Family are “preparing to shoot on duty police officers,” the NYPD is on what the New York Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association called a “wartime” footing, adding that de Blasio’s hands are “literally dripping with our blood…” In a statement issued Saturday, the union said that “at least two units are to respond to EVERY call,” regardless of the severity of the call.
“Absolutely NO enforcement action in the form of arrests and or summonses is to be taken unless absolutely necessary and an individual MUST be placed under arrest,” the statement added. “These are precautions that were taken in the 1970’s when police officers were ambushed and executed on a regular basis.”
“The mayor’s hands are literally dripping with our blood because of his words actions and policies and we have, for the first time in a number of years, become a ‘wartime’ police department,” the statement said. “We will act accordingly.”
