We don’t need to be extorted. In the early years of our republic we relied primarily on tariffs to fund our federal government. Going back to an import tariff will eliminate our trade deficit, generate billions of dollars in revenue, make American manufacturing relevant, competitive, and superior again, eliminate our need to borrow, and create millions of new jobs. We just need to elect leaders who think America first instead of their next election first….
