In view of yesterday's Republican primary for Thad Cochran's Mississippi Senate seat, which Cochran won by convincing Democrats to vote for him in the Republican primary, Cochran should keep in mind that those Democrats won't be voting for him in the general election. Therefor, Chris McDaniel stands a very good chance of winning the general election by running as an independent.
