A controversial imam is urging immigrant Muslims in the United States to wage war for Islam. That would mean violence against average American citizens, basically he is calling for acts of terror in the homeland. Where is Homeland Security? Shouldn’t this be addressed and maybe even stopped?

Does this not rise to the levels of the basic definition of hate speech? Do we not take the threat of actions of terror seriously in this country anymore?

Maybe this guy is just another “Joe Biden” type that you let say stupid things because you know he really doesn’t understand the implications.  No, that’s not it. Shaker Elsaed is a well-known religious leader at a large and prominent mosque in Arlington, VA. He’s serious.

Shaker Elsaed also said recently, “The enemies of Allah are lining up. The question for us is, are we lining [up] or are we afraid because they may call us terrorists?” Well Shaker, you are quacking just like a terrorist, you meet the description. How is this hate-monger still roaming the Virginia streets, stirring up his followers to attack American targets? If anybody needs to be locked up, it’s him.

He gave his crowd a “if they’re going to call you terrorists anyway, give them a good reason” speech at T.C. Williams Highs School in Alexandria, VA.

His words were, “Let me give you the good news: they are already calling us terrorists anyway. Whether you sitting at home, watching TV, drinking coffee, sleeping or playing with your kids, you are a terrorist because you are a Muslim.”

“Well, give them a run for their money. Make it worth it. Make this title worth it, and be a good Muslim,” said the Egyptian Elsaed. Evidently, by his definition, a good Muslim is a terrorist Muslim.  He continued, “Muslim men, when it is a price to pay, they are first in line. … They are the first in the community-service line. They are the first in jihad line,” he declared to applause.

Then, in a curious “he was just kidding” move, a member of the possibly concerned congregation walked to the podium and declared that the speech was not calling for jihad.  So whatever he said, ignore it. The tried and true Jeremiah Wright method resurfaces.

“If Dar al-Hijrah were like most American religious institutions it would fire Elsayed, but it’s not like most religious institutions,” said John Rossomando, a researcher at the Investigative Project on Terrorism.

The Christian majority in Ethiopia is fighting these Muslim terrorism proponents in a 1,000 year war. Presently in dispute are Muslim demands that the Ogaden region be given autonomy.

“The mosque operates as a front for Hamas … [and] has the distinction of being connected with more terror plots than just about any other mosque in America,” he said proudly in a statement to The Daily Caller.

If the situation were reversed and this were any other group calling for attacks against Muslims, you can bet the special interests and American government would have already arrested this rabble-rouser and have him up on charges. Hussein Obama might even have addressed the comments in an expression of feigned outrage. But threats against Americans from within our own borders are somehow acceptable to the phony “American leadership.” Perhaps it is because our leadership is the very ones enabling and encouraging this kind of chatter. Perhaps our leadership in DC has the same goals in mind. There is a reason for the existence of the term “ domestic enemy.” That term does not apply only to this imam.
