BREAKING: “Million Vet March” is Now Being Organized
Barack Obama ordered the WWII memorial to be shut down. He had the vets threatened with arrest. Then he did the same to the Vietnam vets. The response? A new grassroots movement to defy his shutdown and make a stand.
It’s called the “Million Vet March”, and it’s just now getting organized. Here’s there website. Here’s their Facebook page. They’re a non-partisan group of people from every walk of life and political background with one goal: defend the honor of the vets being used as pawnsby the Obama administration.
It’s about time someone organized this. Every radio host, social media editor, and publisher should push for this protest. It’s time to stop putting up and start speaking out.
Here’s an excerpt of their views from their website:
We do not care what political leanings you may be; be it liberal, conservative, Democrat, Republican, Libertarian, Independent or whatever. The actions of the U.S. government this week with regard to barricading and shutting down the World War II Memorial to veterans, that may or may not be on their last trip to Washington DC, is a despicable act of cowardice.
Veterans this week were unwillingly pitted as pawns in this crisis. We feel that this should never be the case. This is why we will go to Congress after the budget crisis and ask for a bill to be introduced that would prevent any member of the government from closing our memorials down to any American, except for maintenance purposes. In the meantime, we will have our March inWashington DC on October 13th! Our veterans deserve that!
Here’s a video of the vets taking over the WWII memorial the first time.
It’s time to stand up and be heard. Spread this around, join their Facebook page, and let people know what’s happening. We refuse to watch as older generations are insulted by political thugs.
