Of all the stupidity, liberal basket cases are now suing President Trump for not divesting himself ENOUGH from his businesses. Except he has!
A legal watchdog group says it will file a lawsuit alleging that President Donald Trump is violating the Constitution by allowing his businesses to accept payments from foreign governments, according to World Israel News.
The group says he is violating a clause in the Constitution that prohibits his businesses from receiving anything of value from foreign governments. Because he didn’t divest his businesses, they say, he is now getting gifts from foreign governments via guests and events at his hotels, leases in his buildings and real estate deals abroad.
White House Director of Strategic Communications Hope Hicks directed inquiries to Trump attorney Sheri Dillon.
“She was very clear on this issue two weeks ago and nothing has changed; the president has no conflicts,” Hicks said in an email.
The liberal-funded waste product watchdog group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington filed the lawsuit in the Southern District of New York on Monday.
In the video below it is clear that the President has taken all necessary steps to distance himself from any and all leadership and financial benefit of his hundreds of companies, which are now solely under the management of his sons Don, Jr. and Eric. Trump will have ZERO control and ZERO involvement with the companies his children are now managing for his entire tenure in office.
Furthermore, the President has set up a system whereby any and all profits from foreign governments, for example booking rooms at Trump hotels, will go directly to the US Treasury to avoid even the hint of a conflict of interest.
Barring a corrupt judge I see absolutely no chance of this frivolous and ridiculous lawsuit going anywhere. That will not, however, shut up the liberal crybabies who had no problem with the Clintons renting the Lincoln bedroom in the White House when they were in office or even the existence of the Clinton Foundation which received tens of millions of dollars in direct contributions from foreign governments, even while Hitlery was serving as Secretary of State. Where was CREW when this was going on?
