Donald Trump and Ted Cruz announced yesterday they are planning a joint protest in Washington sometime in the next two weeks. Trump characterized it as “something very big.” The protest is planned to oppose the nuclear deal the Obama administration has made with Iran, which Trump labeled as “totally incompetent.”

Following a campaign stop in South Carolina, The Donald met with reporters, announcing the joint protest with the Cruz camp, describing Cruz as “a friend of mine and a good guy,” reinforcing their growing political affiliation. Cruz is considered by many pundits to be Trump’s leading candidate as running mate.

“By the way,” added Trump, “even if you break it up, they (the Iranians) are going to get $150 billion. You know what I’d do? I wouldn’t give them the money!”

Go, Donald!
