Canadian Cruz suffered a self-inflicted crash and burn last night, the cause of which has been attributed to pilot error.

After being booed off the stage at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, the Canadian slinked off to billionaire Sheldon Adelson’s suite where I suppose he expected to find sympathy, comfort, and fellowship. Instead, he found the cold, hard reality of the consequences of his knack for pissing off everyone in any given room at any given time. The Canadian was denied entry to Adelson’s suite.

During a week when Republicans are seeking to repair the caustic disunity that Cruz created during the primary, the GOP expected better of him last night. They needed his ringing endorsement for Donald Trump as the nominee to beat Hillary Clinton. Instead, they were treated to a self-promoting 2020 presidential stump speech, during which the Canadian refused the audience’s plea of “EN-DORSE TRUMP!” He only smiled and continued his blah-blah self-promotion, until he was booed completely off the stage.

Canadian Cruz is that clueless loser in college who always said the wrong thing at the wrong time that ruined everyone’s party. He has pissed off entire cities and states, he has alienated everyone inside the beltway, he was Donald Trump’s choice for running mate early in the primary before he got the bright idea that he could beat Trump. Had he simply kept his big mouth shut, Cruz would likely be the GOP vice-presidential candidate, meaning he would be GOP heir apparent to the White House in 2024, when he will be 53 years old, very young by presidential standards. But, he couldn’t wait. He had to have it all, and he had to have it all NOW!

The Canadian would have gone a long way to repair the rift between himself and the GOP last night by simply saying a few nice things about the presidential nominee. He couldn’t do it. So, again, Cruz loses. You lose with Cruz! May his miserable career as a government parasite soon rest in peace.

According to The Washington Post, “Sen. Ted Cruz infuriated a lot of Republicans in the Quicken Loans Arena Wednesday night when he refused to endorse Donald Trump, but perhaps he will most regret offending two of them.

Billionaires Sheldon and Miriam Adelson refused to let the senator from Texas enter their donor suite after his controversial address, according to a person familiar with the circumstances. CNN first reported the episode.

It was a pointed rebuff of a politician who has methodically cultivated the support of the Las Vegas Sands chairman and his wife for years, and who was once considered a strong contender to get their backing in the 2016 White House contest.

The Adelsons, who spent more than $92 million supporting Republicans in the 2012 elections, have approached this campaign with more caution, holding back from picking a candidate during the primaries. But this spring, they signaled they would back Trump. And on Wednesday night, Adelson adviser Andy Abboud made it official, tweeting a photo of the couple and the candidate together.”
