In light of Donald Trump’s election as President of the United States, Ford Motor Company Chairman Bill Ford has announced that Ford will not be moving its Kentucky plant to Mexico.
I’m sure Ford’s analysts calculated the cost of the move added to the punishment that Trump promises in the form of import tariffs, compared that to the no cost benefit of staying put added to the promised cut in corporate tax rates, and the whole picture changed. Suddenly cheap Mexican labor was not very appealing.
That’s all it took, folks, just a patriot with a good business head on his shoulders who can see the big picture, connect the dots, and has a reputation for doing what he says he is going to do. THAT is Donald Trump.
Prepare for a glorious four years, hopefully eight, and help Donald Trump Make America Great Again!
Just got a call from my friend Bill Ford, Chairman of Ford, who advised me that he will be keeping the Lincoln plant in Kentucky – no Mexico
