Debbie Wasserman Schultz thought the coast was clear. She performed like a loyal party soldier, bagged the nomination for Hitlery, and silently accepted her fate as the party’s sacrificial lamb for her noble work. But she still has her House gig, right?

Perhaps not! Sergeant Schultz is now feeling the Bern. Bernie has endorsed Tim Canova, Schultz’s primary opponent, which generated a quick two million bucks in precious campaign revenue.

Top aides to Bernie’s campaign are also now assisting the former DNC Chair’s primary opponent and working feverishly to unemploy the Florida incumbent.

Schultz should have expected an unhealthy dose of characteristic liberal vindictiveness and Bernie Sanders is as liberal and characteristically vindictive as they come.

Maybe she can sleep on the couch in Chappaqua, if Bill will let her get any sleep.

According to The Hill, “The political consulting firm run by top aides to Bernie Sanders’s presidential campaign is going to work for Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s primary challenger.

Sanders has already endorsed the Florida Democrat’s opponent, professor Tim Canova, and the exposure helped Canova haul in more than $2 million.

But the move to aid Canova by the communications firm Devine, Mulvey, Longabaugh — first reported by Politico and confirmed by The Hill — is the most direct marshaling of firepower by Sanders allies to knock Wasserman Schultz out of office.

The firm, run by Tad Devine, Julian Mulvey and Mark Longabaugh, worked primarily on advertising for the Sanders’s campaign, but they also advised Sanders throughout his Democratic primary run. The firm also did work for other progressive primary challengers this cycle, including Ohio Senate candidate P.G. Sittenfeld and Illinois Senate candidate Andrea Zopp.

The Sanders campaign and its supporters have been on the warpath against Wasserman Schultz, accusing her of tilting the scales for Hillary Clinton, now the Democratic presidential nominee, as chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee (DNC).

Wasserman Schultz resigned as DNC chairwoman this week after leaked emails appeared to show officials plotting against Sanders.

But Sanders supporters are seeking to boot her from office in the Florida primary, which will be held in late August.”
