Moving from Hawaii, the bluest of blue states, to deep red, conservative Texas, I am reminded of Davy Crockett’s famous words when he lost an election to Congress, speaking at a political gathering afterward, he declared, “You can all go to hell. I’m going to Texas.”

This is awesome! Talk about making lemonade out of lemons, these Texans take the opportunity that Hurricane Harvey has presented to do a little noodling (hand fishing).

California is stagnating. Its oppressive, liberal policies, outrageous taxes, and one-party Democrat rule are running conservatives out of the state in droves.
